Rave of the moment singer The Weeknd has covered the latest edition of Rolling Stone magazine.
It’s
been quite a successful few months for the singer, selling over 500,000
copies of his last album so far, dominating the Billboard Hot 100, and
now this.
“I’m still shaking… proudest moment of my career,” he captioned a photo of the cover on his Instagram page.
In the interview, The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, spoke about a number of issues, from his music, to girlfriend Bella Hadid.
He admitted he was aware of his impact on current music, and revealed he might take a break after his next album.
“People
tell me I’m changing the culture,” he said to the magazine. “I already
can’t turn on the radio. I think I’m gonna drop one more album, one more
powerful body of work, then take a little break — go to Tokyo or
Ethiopia or some shit.”
