In their 2-0 loss to Olymp[ique Marseille, Juventus received some more bad news as Sami Khedira picked up a hamstring injury which would see him miss part of the season.

Sami Khedira arrived at Juventus last month and Juventus are looking to the German to play a huge role in the club this season with the departures of Vidal and Pirlo but the early signs are not encouraging as Khedira was carried off in the first half of the match against Marseille with a muscle problem and had to be replaced by Sturaro. This is the second time that Khedira has been injured since his arrival in June which makes his fitness a big issue for Juventus.
Juventus are still waiting on a medical assessment of the 28 year old to determine the extent of the damage and how long Khedira would be out
